How to lose fat and gain muscle


I'm new to bodybuilding and while I do want to pack on some muscle size, I also need to shed some fat. Could you give me some tips on how to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time? Thanks!

Some trainees think that lifting light weights will shed fat, but that's not true, lifting weights will increase muscle, it has no effect on fat. Keep the weights heavy to pack on muscle size, the only way to shed fat is to eat less calories than you burn a day and to do cardio.
