I never had to exercise to remain trim when I was younger. When our daughter was born, I dropped most of the weight but over the ensuing 16 years, I had slowly but steadily been gaining.

I am frustrated now (complains about shape/weight every time I get dressed) but will not make exercise a priority.

I want to be encouraged to start taking steps without 1. seeming insensitive 2. making not want to do anything or 3. seeming condescending.

Please help.
